Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC)

The i-Educate conference will be held on the Plaza Level at BCEC. The Plaza Level connects the Centre's Merivale Street and Grey Street sides and serves as a key access point within the venue.

Getting There

Getting to BCEC is simple via public transport, car or on foot.

Train

The most convenient stations are:

  • South Brisbane railway station (adjacent to BCEC on Grey Street)
  • South Bank railway station (corner Colchester & Tribune Streets)

Bus Services

Closest bus stations:

  • Cultural Centre bus station (Melbourne Street)
  • South Bank Busway station (corner Colchester & Tribune Streets)


CityCats & Ferries

CityCat services operate daily and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on Clem Jones Promenade. Inner-city ferries run between the CBD, North Quay and Kangaroo Point.

Car Parking

BCEC operates an undercover South Bank parking facility for visitors and guests. The car park offers direct lift access to convention and

exhibition spaces.

Navigating BCEC


Venue Entrances

BCEC has three main public entrances:

  • Main Entrance — Corner Merivale & Glenelg Streets
  • Grey Street Entrance — Grey Street
  • Exhibition Entrance — Corner Melbourne & Merivale Streets

Getting to Plaza Level at BCEC

From the Main or Grey Street Entrance

Enter the main foyer and take the lifts or escalators to the Plaza Level. Follow overhead signage.

From the Car Park

Use the lifts in the underground car park and select Plaza Level. Wayfinding signage is provided near all lift banks.

From South Bank Precinct (on foot)

Follow signs to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre via Grey Street. The Plaza Level is accessible from this side.

Via Public Transport

From South Brisbane Station or Cultural Centre Bus Station, it’s a short walk to BCEC. Once inside, follow internal signage to the Plaza Level.
